Oh the joys of being a sunbeam teacher... I'm getting to know what its like to be a grandma having this calling. Deke and I spend two hours a week with the cutest kids, have fun with them, play games, load them up with sugar and send them on their way (OK only once a month do I bring sugary treats). For the month of November we have 3 sunbeams with birthdays so we decided to celebrate them all at the same time. Tomorrow we are bringing these beauties to class, owl cupcakes. They were easy to make: As you can see its just Oreo cookies and M&M's for the eyes and candy corn for the nose atop of a chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting. YUMMY!
So Cute
ReplyDeleteThose are precious! Thanks for pumping the kids up with sugar before sacrament. Nursery is definately too boring for us so I glad we'll have excitement for sacrament. Just kidding. You guys are awesome sunbeam teachers. Eli loves you guts. He still refers to you as his NEW teacher. Lol
ReplyDeleteI love them!!! I am going to make these tomorrow hahah
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your fun cupcakes- Owls and reindeer! Where do you get your fun ideas?
ReplyDeleteI find ideas from Google or other blogs... I wish I could say its from my own creativity but its not! lol
ReplyDeleteI have made those before. I have five kids and all five are different sports and our school mascot is the owl. Needless to say there are a lot of pitch ins. My owl cupcakes use a cashew for a nose, black licorice for the horns or ears (whichever you prefer to call them) and carmel between the oreo cream and the M&M. But these are super cute!
ReplyDeletethese are absolutely precious! I love them.
