I know this is a little late coming but I always put off the posts I know will take a long time. On July 31, 2010 Deke and I were sealed in the Sacramento Temple for time and eternity. It was a very special experience that we will treasure forever. We had an awesome sealer who said some very special and powerful things. One thing that sticks out in my head was when he said to "Love your spouse more than you love yourself" and to say that you love them millions of times throughout your marriage. What great council. It was the most ideal way to spend our 1 year anniversary and to rap it up we had a reception at my parents house. We did that because when we got married we didn't have a wedding or reception. Instead of doing all the celebration on the front end, like tradition, we did it all on the back end. We felt it was more important to recognize the sealing anyways rather that the civil marriage.

Congrats!!!!!! I love sealings more than anything. It will be fun for you to go to someone elses sealing. They say different things but a lot of the same. Its so great to be reminded of all that love and joy. How blessed you and your family are. XOXO I couldn't be more happy for you.
